Steven Howell has been teaching Holocaust and Holocaust literature for over 20 years. He is a United States Holocaust Memorial Museum Teacher Fellow, completed advanced Holocaust study at Yad Vashem, and studied the USC iwitness curriculum at Auschwitz. Howell was also awarded The Spirit of Anne Frank Teaching Award in 2012. His area of interest is ekphrastic writing using photographs and artifacts.
