Dr. Steve Howell
Steven Howell has been teaching Holocaust and Holocaust literature for over 20 years. He is a United States Holocaust Memorial Museum Teacher Fellow, completed advanced Holocaust study at Yad Vashem, and studied the USC iwitness curriculum at Auschwitz. Marty J. Kalb is an Artist / Professor Emeritus at Ohio Wesleyan University. He has over fifty years of making art and teaching both studio art and art history at the college level. Dr. Tim Murnen
Tim Murnen has led a Fulbright-Hays trip to Poland, Hungary, and Greece to follow in the footsteps of 6 Toledo-area Holocaust survivors. He works with teachers to develop curriculum around survivors’ eyewitness narratives, historical nonfiction texts, digital media, children’s and young adult literature, and authentic writing projects that challenge students to engage the issues of the Holocaust and other genocides as they consider their own response to current issues and events.
