Dr. Mark Cole teaches in the History Department at Cleveland State University.  He specializes in modern Europe and Germany, specifically the history of Nazism and the Holocaust, Jewish Studies, as well as the histories of consumption and food more generally. Dr. Cole has presented his research across the United States as well as in Germany, Poland, Belgium, France, and Israel. He has been a Fellow of the Leo Baeck Institute Jerusalem, the United States Holocaust Memorial Museum in Washington D.C., and the Holocaust Educational Foundation at Northwestern University. At CSU, he regularly teaches his History of the Holocaust course and each spring organizes a Yom Ha’Shoah (Holocaust Remembrance) event.  He is available for lectures, workshops, and mini-courses.
