Democracy at Risk: Holocaust and Human Behavior

Join the OCHGE in partnership with Facing History and Ourselves In today’s world, questions of how to build and maintain democratic societies that are pluralistic, open, and resilient to violence are more relevant than ever. This two-day workshop will introduce participants to Facing History’s approach to the study of the Holocaust, which enables students to wrestle with profound moral questions raised by this history and fosters their skills in civic engagement, ethical reasoning, critical thinking, and empathy — all of which are critical for sustaining democracy.
